At Beacon Elevators, our bed and stretcher lifts are engineered to meet the specific needs of hospitals, clinics and other healthcare environments. Designed for safe and efficient patient transportation, these lifts come equipped with a ‘Car Preference’ switch that allows an attendant to take full control of the lift when necessary. A lift normally installed in a hospital/dispensary/clinic and designed to accommodate one number bed/stretcher along its depth, with sufficient space around to carry a minimum of three attendants in addition to the lift operator. The Car Preference mode overrides normal operations, allowing the car to respond exclusively to commands from the attendant, enhancing safety and operational efficiency. This is especially vital in healthcare settings where timing and access are critical. Beacon Elevators offers customized, reliable, and compliant lift solutions tailored for demanding hospital operations. With a strong focus on performance, safety, and ease of use, our hospital lift systems are built to support the continuous and sensitive nature of medical care environments. Hospital elevators are used for simple transportation of a patient on wheelchair to wheeling away a critical patient on stretcher without disturbing his life support system with doctors and nurses, smoothly, silently and swiftly, without jerks and shocks. Elevators for medical purpose are vertical transport equipment used in hospital and other relevant places to move patients and surgical instruments. Beacon offers hospital elevator in Auto Door and Manual Door operation.

Note:
1- The total overhead dimension has been calculated on the basis of car height of 2.3 m,
2- In case of manually operated doors, clear entrance will be reduced by the amount of projection of handle on the landlng door.
3- All dimensions given above for lifts having centre opening power operated doors with counterweight at rear, are recommended. dimensions primarily for architects and building planners.
4- Dimensions of pit depth and overhead may differ in practice as per design depending upon load, speed and drive.

CLIENT SCOPE - Detailed Requirements

Three Phase Power Supply

Provide Three Phase Power Supply near control panel with M.C.B. & E.L.C.B.
Scaffolding

Provide scaffolding for entire erection period (approximately 15 days)
Temporary Power Connection

Provide temporary power connection for erection & testing work
Access Permission

Give free access in case work needs to be done after office hours
Shaft Construction

Construct the shaft in accordance with GA Drawing
Earth Points

Provide 2 Earth Points near Control Panel
Shaft Lighting

Provide shaft lighting with plug points
Civil Material & Mason

Provide mason with civil material for minor building work including grouting etc. during erection work
Machine Room Components

Access to Machine room, Machine beams, Supporting beams, Machine room door, Machine room ladder, Loading hook etc.
Elevator Shaft Wall Finishing

Provide Elevator Shaft wall to be plastered & painted
R.C.C. Column Design

4 No. R.C.C. Columns to be designed by client for the given load

Quick Reference

Construct the shaft (230mm brick / 150mm RCC Walls) in accordance with our GA drawings.
Mason with material for minor builder's work such as pocket cutting, grouting, door fixing, etc.
Temporary power connection for erection & testing work.
Scaffolding till the time of erection for about 30 days.
Access to Machine room (if applicable).
Power supply (415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 Wires with Neutral, 50 Hz. & 230 Volts 1 Phase) near our control panel with MCB/JUNCTION BOX.
